I’d like your opinion. Do you use a meat thermometer and if so what make and model do you use. Thanks

Yes. Sorry, I don't know the make and model but it is digital, which I totally recommend, and I got it off Amazon for $20.

Thanks. I also bought a digital one on Amazon for about the same price but it always reads lower than the meat actually is. I have several times where the meat is cooked but the thermometer says its not. Mine is a Taylor. I was wondering if I should buy a more expensive one.

I didn't/don't know about calibrating it either. The one I got was ImSaferell brand, lithium ion battery digital instant read meat thermometer. I guess it was only $14. Just curious, if you're sure the meat is cooked (assuming by looking at it), do you need a thermometer?

I too bought a digital one from Amazon (under 20) about 3 years ago and so far have had very good, consistent results. Mine is a ThermaPro.
