Talking about sleep today and how it makes a difference in our weight loss success.

I never thought about sleep making a CHEMICAL change in my system! But it actually changes whether I'm burning fat while I'm sleeping or whether I'm burning muscle! Plus, those chemicals are affecting my eating behavior the next day!

I hope we all are finding ways to wind down sooner each night and get that extra hour or 2 of sleep. It really DOES make a difference😴

I have absolutely logged a correlation between low sleep scores on my Fitbit and my new high blood pressure problem. Also those days I just don't seem to lose even when my CI/CO & macros say I should-yup had bad sleep the night before. Went to see my C-PAP doctor yesterday to get back on track! Let's get those ZZZZ!

I only recently learned about ghrelin and leptin & the impact of not enough sleep and am still working to understand it. Wish I had known this years ago, that sometimes it’s not psychological but an actual chemical/hormonal thing

@JohnZerne...I was very surprised to learn of the correlation between sleep and its effects on weight loss too! If you snooze...you really DO lose!
