Wow I haven't journaled for 4 days? Probably because I've been binge eating all weekend. So, today is my birthday! Yay! I'm a whole day older than I was yesterday at this time. My girlfriend really tried to make it special even though we were only going to see each other for a minute today. She sprayed happy birthday in glow in the dark "stuff" on the mirror, put up happy birthday banners all over the house, and packed my lunch for me. She also kept singing a happy birthday song. lol

Yesterday she took me to the store so I could pick out my presents. I only own one pair of jeans and they are so big my belt looks like it's gathering the top into a ruffle. I've been wearing shorts all summer, but now since it's decided to be WINTER, they are sadly in the closet. I'm super cheap and hate spending money on clothes, so I don't, unless I have to. Well I didn't have to because she bought me 2 pairs of jeans. One is a size 12 (my original pair is a 14), and the second pair is a SIZE 10!!!!!!! EXCITING! It's all fun with numbers though, because the 12 actually feels tighter than the 10 (different manufacturers), BUT I DON'T CARE BECAUSE I CAN'T REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I WORE A SIZE 10!!! YAY!!!!! :D

She also bought me a thermos so I can bring soup with me for lunch. It gets very cold out on the road in winter so I'm excited about that! She bought me 2 water bottles, so I can bring lots of water with me (and pee at every store and rest stop on the interstate).

Tomorrow is the family dinner, and I have NO IDEA how I'm going to cook it and work. I borrowed my Dad's big crock pot for the lentil sloppy joes. I'm hoping the pot pies don't take long to bake. I experimented all weekend with making my own vegan butter and puff pastry. Then when I was on my last rolling of the puff pastry I rolled it right on to the floor. I almost cried. I'm going to be making the pot pies with phyllo dough instead. My Dad informed me he is going to be throwing some meatballs in the oven to go with the spaghetti. ONE DAY! CAN'T EVEN GO ONE DAY WITHOUT EATING ANOTHER LIVING BEING??? Did I mention $9^#@&;!!!!! I will let you all know how everything turned out tomorrow. Wish me luck, ima need it!
