This picture of my soft, warm, cuddly kitties from last night is a reminder to me. It is a reminder that we are always better with support from one another on this journey. No one understands the fight and the struggle to make good choices even when troubled by life's endless pressures like others who are facing the same ones... the pull to find comfort in food, dull the pain with another sweet treat, increase the enjoyment of a moment with yummy snacks... we know.

There are no foods that can give comfort from most of life’s pains. You have to learn to control your response to these things. Put the oxygen on yourself first or you cannot help anyone else.

Br_e_co, thanks... A few good days makes a difference for sure. Kenna, I do know that so well. After eating more than needed, I'm left with sorrow and guilt that makes things worse.
