Haha, it means I don't remember this delicious freshly made salad was in your shopping cart the other day. 😉 

Hahahaha. Well, I’ve been pretty busy with another part-time job this week- it’s working in a salad bar, making salad/sandwich, etc. I know I’m making excuses but you know, sometimes I’m lazy hahahaha. Think about it. You have only 15 minutes to eat, brush your teeth, and way to go. Will you make a lunch?! Well, you’d probably packed it, don’t you?  

Committed. I’m gonna make lunch & dinner tonight from my shopping cart last Sunday haha 😂  

Haha, well, I will do an efficiency study to see where can I find an extra minute or two. I have been good these past few months, I stack tons of canned sardines. Plus I have no $ in my wallet, cc limit is maxed out, and I can't afford to pay for food delivery tip. I guess the canned sardines will do 😉 Haha. I 

Haha, empty the fridge. So you have an excuse to buy more delicious food 👍. Kidding aside, pls eat what you are in the mood for at that moment. My motto has been "food is cheap, eat what I enjoy." 

I will. Haha, the go-to food I enjoy for this moment are chicken breast salad 🥗 In Korea, delivery system is so fast and easy; you click a food you want to have close to your area, pay for it using Coupang eat (already saved my card there haha), and it’s right there by 10-15 min. I’d open my app 30 min before my lunch time and when I get back to home, cute salad is in front of the door 🚪 Today, I already prepped my lunch haha There’s no option to use Coupang 😅 

Oh really? So convenient 👍. At least you're not going to bed hungry. If you ever in the mood for what's the name of the soup. Oh yeah, 해물순두부찌개. Pls order two, have one delivers to my front door 😉 

해물순두부찌개 hahahhahahahahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Oh, well, that’s pretty expensive to afford at this moment. I’ll send you one by next week to PA. J/K. Maybe you’d consider going to H-Mart this weekend? (Sorry, H-mart creators 해물순두부찌개 is the best in Korea). My parents were always disappointed when they go to H-Mart, they’re like this is not 잡채!! This is not 김치!! It tastes weird as if Chinese food in the US is not Really Chinese food. It’s like Chinese Mcdonald hamburgers. Hopefully you got my point.  

Haha, yup. It's not authentic Korean enough, but what do I know right? Until I taste the real authentic Korean food, then I have a sense of reference. So H-Mart is all I know with a pretty good 해물순두부찌개 (good memory 😉). 

Hahahaha that’s funny 😆 I gotcha. To be clear, I also don’t know real Chinese food as I’ve only had Americanized and Koreanized versions haha. Unless you ever travel to Korea during your lifetime, you’d never know 😉 I mean there’re Korean towns in the US but I’ve never been there before & not sure it tastes similar.  

I don't know what's authentic Chinese food either. I used to live in VN, so I know what's considered authentic VNese food. It boiled down to how they made the fish sauce. Americanized version fish sauce is cooked to get rid of the raw fish sauce smell. I live here long enough to prefer the Americanized version of fish sauce. But once in awhile, I do enjoy an authentic VN fish sauce experience. Well, I will have to read reviews to see which restaurants have the most authentic Korean food taste in the Korean Town. I drive by this town on my way to H-mart to get my yummy 해물순두부찌개. I only stop in the Korean town for the bbq experience.  

Is there a fish sauce?! Just googled it, Nước chấm. Ohh I see. I’ve only had pho, shrimp roll, and chill sauce for VN foods. My mom used to buy me pho for my dinner when I was 1st-4th grade as I loved it a lot (still, am I but there aren’t lots of VN restaurants nearby). Hopefully, Google (users) doesn’t lie hahaha. Think about it, will Korean people make a review on Korean restaurants in Korean town?! J/K. Hope you’d enjoy your time there and H-mart w/ 해물순두부찌개 (oh my, too mouthy). Haha, maybe I’ll try fish sauce and spring roll this weekend. It will be a long ride for sure haha. Is the spring roll you talked about different from what I usually have with rice paper & veggies??  

Oh yes, I heard Korean BBQ tastes good. How is it different from original BBQ? Btw, happy thanksgiving! 🦃  

Haha, my eating experience has been...... if I want authentic food. Goto a restaurant with a lot of local people. Google reviews help narrow it down some. You don't eat bbq at home? It's not usually eaten at home? For sure it's totally different than what I had the other day in my entry. That's what I would say regular bbq. Google Korean bbq and see if it's something you ate before. Phở, hủ tiếu, cơm thịt nướng, gỏi cuốn are typically fast food I would say. Sit down eating like canh chua, cá kho, or thịt kho are what I would say a bit more authentic VNese eating. Your rice paper wrap is pretty close to VNese gỏi cuốn. You just have to wrap it a bit more tightly. Next time I'll email it to you haha. 

You don't celebrate turkey day now that you're back home? Just another smiling exercising day 😉 

Oh noooo!!!!!!!!!!!! I love all the VN foods you mentioned!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pls send me more through email. I’m waiting for it. Sorry I’m too excited now. Canh chua in particular is my fav soup style!!! Korean BBQ isn’t typical food for my family for sure. Plus family dinner is v~~~~~~~e~~~~~rrrry rare for us. We’re just too individualistic to each other I guess. Independence is something that my parents have tried to cultivate, just my guess growing under them. Oops to me if my dad starts FS. I know I love you dad 😘 Well, yup, we stopped celebrating Thanksgiving (I think 💭). It’s been five months since I’ve come back to KOR. There’s no ‘Happy Thanksgiving!’ Message in our family group chat 💬…. Hopefully, they didn’t forget haha. When I said ‘Happy thanksgiving’ to my coworkers today, all of their faces were like what the heck she’s talking about? Pretty embarrassed but it’s fine 😗
