This all seems so incredibly self-absorbed--probably because it is. I am reminded of one of the great reasons I hate diets--constantly having to worry about what I am eating. At moments like this, I wish I had a personal chef to prepare sensible, delicious meals for me (and hopefully shop for them as well, so I don't actually have to enter a grocery store!). I would still need to think about snacks (perhaps most of these could also be prepared by the chef?), but I wouldn't have to take notes of everything I served at supper. Ah well. Pipe dream.

I am excited to have lost 5 lbs. so far this month. As I begin to hit PMS time, I rather expect to gain weight, or at least not to lose. I wonder if cutting down on sodium could reduce the water weight a lot during that week? Or *sigh* just drinking more water, as I know I should but really don't wanna, usually. Anyway, I know my friend always freaks out when she steps on the scale during "that week", and can't seem to lose weight. I can only try to save myself that embarrassment...
