Happy Mother’s Day to all you Moms!!

We had a celebration and a bake off last night. My family gets together and we have a baking contest. Last night was Sheppards Pie and Pavlovas, two of my favorite dishes. I saved up my calorie count for last nights dinner and I didn’t bother to record yesterday. Needless to say my brother and sister are pavlova fans. My youngest brother has decided he likes making sheppards pie. A fun evening all around.

At church today someone stopped me and said I was looking great. At first I wasn’t sure what they meant. They could have been hassling me as they have that type of personality. But they continued that I was looking good and were genuinely complementing me. Told them I was exercising regularly and lost 7 pounds. So my first real life acknowledgement of my efforts to be healthy.
