It's funny, that when my hairdresser first saw me today she was going on about how much weight I'd lost. I told her I probably weighed about the same as the last time I saw her in November. It may have been more noticeable today cause I have on a t shirt & jeans. Like you say....it's still nice to get the positive reinforcement. Glad you're able to get back to the gym. 😀

Lucky you Melissa, my PF closed during the pandemic. There's a newer and better equipped gym that has opened up closer to home. I'm glad you are back in action. I hope to join you soon...

Same thing happened to me! Feeling like a total lard ass and then ran into an old, dear friend at Walmart Saturday whom I have not seen in probably 18 months or so. She was pretty shocked at how I looked and kept mentioning it while I was trying to catch up on family and life stuff. Made me realize I'm not to a terrible point. It was a much needed compliment. How's the knee this week?

That’s what so nice Melissa, we are all in this together and experiencing the struggle and rewards of losing weight. Getting exercise is the best you can do for yourself, just don’t drop a dumbbell on your leg. 😆

Welcome home Melissa! I’m in MI tonight and was shocked when I was asked to mask between the door and to my seat at the bar. The middle states are not doing this anymore. But, in any case I’m glad tensions are also easing around the country! Be blessed as you get back into your groove! Still praying for healings! 🙏

Yay! Princess! That is terrific you got some nice affirmation too! It helps! The knee isn't too bad, but maybe the reason is it hadn't had much pressure on it this week! 😁 Thank you, 🐻!! People are great at this gym. I've been really appreciative of folks being sensitive to the concerns of others. It makes for a nice atmosphere. Lonnie, just wish I could go for a long walk with you and take pictures of pretty things. That would be far more interesting than lifting heavy things... Although I am grateful I can! Thank you!!!

Thanks, Shrewdness! Working out really does clear the mind and helps the body relax. I should do it all day! Somehow there seem to be lots of reasons I don't. 😁 I'll sure feel better when I start to see some scale movement and my fitness shifts back toward where it was. Hey, 60pack! Thank you, man!! I'm sure trying! Since my 40 year old friend just got out of the hospital where he nearly died of covid, I am just so glad my worst problem physically is a bum knee. He is struggling to breathe now and it will be months at least before he can work out even close to normally. I am really counting. My blessings to not be in his shoes.
