I have been taking 600mg of Ibuprofen, 3 times a day, and have been unable to lose weight even though I have been religiously following the Atkins diet for a week now. Yesterday, I stopped taking the pills and lost 1 lb. in 1 day. Hmm...

Well if you have some sort of inflammation that in it itself could cause your body to retain water. The ibuprofen would help. But who knows what medications do to us individually. Take care of yourself and keep going. It will come off.

I think I tore something in my shoulder so I was trying to self medicate. It didn't seem to work so I'll concentrate on losing weight. Thanks for the encouragement.

sometimes certain pain relievers will cause a weight stall,you probably found yours,mine is Aleve,messes my weightloss up bad.Use sparingly!
