This was a rough day. A friend I worked with for over 35 years died last night. (We were elementary librarians and there were just 6 people in our department.) She was only 65. She was so enthusiastic about reading new books to her students and new technology techniques. She loved her family so much. She never had children of her own, but raised her sisters daughter and son and also raised her neice's son. She had such a big heart for others. I will miss her. It makes me value the people I have in my life.

I am sorry for your loss. You made glorious memories with her and she has enriched you as an individual. You, too, gave her wonderful memories and warm smiles. It is amazing that you crossed paths with this woman who had such a big heart! I am sure that you learned a thing or two from her kindness. And you will continue to be enriched by her love. Be happy that you were able to make these memories with her! That is so wonderful
