Another Thursday weigh-in and I remain at 173 pounds. However...at the doctor's office yesterday on their scale, which always measures at about 5 pounds heavier, I have lost 12.2 pounds since the beginning of January!!! Happy dance!!! :) So, per that wicked scale, I weigh 177, but in the big picture, I am so happy and proud of my accomplishment. Plus - early January A1c level was 8.2 and yesterday was 7.0. I've been drinking between 1/2 gallon and 3/4 gallon of water each day, and I'm walking at least 3 days per week for a minimum of 30 minutes - briskly! And lastly, last Sunday I moved an entire load of firewood from a pile into the woodshed and stacked. I kicked butt and took names!!
