About a month ago, I started to pay attention to my carbs. I am trying to keep them to about 50 grams (net). I succeed for about 5-6 days a week. Then at least for one day, I let go and have carbs if I want. Even then I find that I eat about 120 grams (total) of them. I am feeling a lot better and have so much less inflammation and bloating. The drawback is that for at least two weeks, I had a massive headache and felt too tired to work out. I have been walking though. Today, I did a cardio session and I am going to get back on that horse. Keeping my carbs low, keeps my calories low too and I generally am a lot more satisfied. Last night, I stopped eating because I was too full. That is a first in as long as I remember.
I will continue with this for a few months and see where it takes me. I have to be better though about clean eating, less cheese and more vegetables and lean meat.
