Great news, grannie 

There was one time, long time ago, that I thought that I would never get old enough to be a grandma because that was old. Lol And now I have one that is about to turn 21 months old, one who is 6 months, and one on the way.  

I'm never going to be a grandma! Lol have told my kids that sex is banned until I'm gone! Lol well at least until I lose my marbles! Lol 

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! Leanne you're so funny!  

Well how wonderful. Now you'll have two to spoil rotten....Bren 

Awe....It must be wonderful to be a grandparent. I had my babies later in life so I have to wait a few more years for the momentous event and the fun of spoiling a grandchild but I do get to practice on my little sisters and big sisters grandchildren:) Congratulations, TOWANDA!!!!!  

congratulations, grandma!! so exciting! my brother and his wife are expecting a girl in march - i can't wait to have another baby in the family (and really happy it's not mine!!) 

Congratulations, how exciting, you are not old....just a young grandma. I am 46, and never thought I would be a grandma, but it is such a joy. It's even nicer when we are out and people think he is mine...and I get to say he is my grandbaby....:) 

Congrats! My mom was the same way when she found out my niece was going to be born she was 45. Loo is more than likely the only grandchild my mom will have for a VERY long time as I am not having kids, my brother is done having kids and my two youngest brothers are not interested in starting a family right now. 

Thank buddies! I'm sure all of you will be or are wonderful grandparents. I have a great time with mine. I'm a young 53 years old. My next birthday is in September. One of the reason's I'm trying to lose weight and eat healthier is so that I can be around a long time to enjoy all my grandchildren...present and future. So if you're an aunt, uncle, mom, dad, or grandparent or even great grandparent be encouraged. Stay with it! If I can do this, anyone can. I don't say it will be easy, cause it's not. We can choose to eat right. I think that I may post a couple of signs on the refrigerator or somewhere in the kitchen.

Oh, Cindy, congratulations to you, Cliff, and the parnets, of course! how wonderful...I love babies, and I would love to have some grandbabies! Just have to be patient and enjoy the four legged ones for now, I guess! 

My youngest daughter is 11 and I am 48. I realized a couple of years ago that I needed to keep a strong healthy body to keep up with both of my girls and to appreciate the gift that I have been given with these two daughters of mine. They bring me such joy. TOWANDA!!!!!

Congrats - my twin sister is the grandmother of SIX already. My sister and I are 48 like you... I never had kids, not everyone is suited to be a parent - my oldest niece is married many years and has none, and is not the maternal type. I made sure not to be able to have kids so don't have to ever worry about it... 

How wonderful. My daughter will be married this coming June. I am looking forward to grandkids some day. My other two aren't close to marriage yet. Congratulations!
