These are fantastic results. You should be really pleased. I would kill for these results. I've brought my cholesterol down from 317 to 217 over 18 months, with no cholesterol meds, just diet, exercise and thyroid medicine. I had never had high cholesterol before, so I was stunned when I tested so high. The doctor said he thought it was mostly because of the low thyroid, and he'll decide in a few months if I will need to take medication. I hope I'll be back to normal by then. Meanwhile, wishing you congratulations and continued progress.

My cholesterol is high from meds I'm on. Your numbers are great - mine were really good when I was doing Atkins strictly and now I'm sure they're horrible. I am going to attempt to bring it down with an over-the-counter supplement called Cholest-Off. Also, as I am not doing Atkins I will have to limit the red meat, take Omega 3 and start eating things like walnuts, almonds etc. more often. I will see how it is in a month or so and maybe go back on Atkins if I have to get it down - it's just I don't want to do it long-term and may have to - I can't tolerate the prescribed meds that are known as statins...
