My PS wants to exchange my implant this week. No explanation as to why. I’ve had this one since 11/2/16. FDA says even with the increase of a rare cancer risk that we shouldn’t change them out until necessary. My family dr said the MRI showed a possible rupture. Maybe that’s the PS’s reasoning. No clue as I didn’t get to talk to him last appointment and they said I couldn’t talk to him until the PreOp tomorrow.

So my ‘dieting down’ this week is a no go lol. He never has wanted me on lower calories right before and for a couple weeks after. Normal calories or a surplus. Yay me! Lol.

Just wish it wasn’t this week. Just got back last night. PreOp tomorrow, surgery Wednesday, tournament starts 8am Friday through Sunday. Massage Monday, dr appointments next week... gotta get school supplies this week, 2 2 hour practices, will have to miss the oldests morning school workouts. Last week of it and she was hoping to finish. Such is life.

PS I can not be held responsible for anything I say on here following surgery. The meds they give me make me a bit high. I get super friendly as a rule and tend to gush (sorry DP!) But I’m also quick to anger when my buttons are pushed for a few hours after lol. I think the kids like to see how fast they can make me go from sappy to angry and back to sappy each time. 🤦‍♀️

Oh no... Goodness you've been through so much, but if it has ruptured that could explain some troubles?! If it is time to make the change, I suppose it would have come eventually. Just such timing... Praying for no complications and a quick recovery. You've braved so much wirh chemo and surgeries... You are one tough lady! Cheering for you!!!

Thanks everyone! Dr said we need to do it now rather than waiting a few years as planned because of the suspected rupture. So far it’s incapsulated but we don’t want something to happen and have the gel leak out of the capsule. Better safe than sorry I guess.
