Got the call today. Alls well! Well it isn’t cancer anyway. I would’ve been fine with cancer because I’ve been there, done that and survived it. The unknown bothers me and now it’s back to being an unknown. I had just assumed cancer and that has kept me calm the last 4 weeks. I knew what to expect and had a plan going forward. Glad it’s not cancer but now back to googling and trying to figure out what it could be. They did rule out silicone in the node. So even if it’s ruptured it’s not leaking out of the capsule. Kinda figured that based on the MRI results.

Still no idea as to the rim like enhancement around that implant. PS wants to remove it in the next couple of weeks. Money is tight so I’d been putting it off. But maybe I should do it and maybe they can tell what the enhancement is. It’s going to drive me nuts not knowing lol.

I’d get it out, but that’s just me. If it’s going to stress you out with worry, sooner than later. Glad it’s not cancer. Was thinking about you.

Glad it is not cancer; that said, maybe removal would be the next move..... better to know than not.

Yeah removal and replacing with a smooth one would be better. The textured ones like I have on the right side are linked to bia-alcl, a rare lymphoma. They haven’t been recalled but it’s worrisome. I just had nipple tattoos done though and removal will mess that up too :/. Still have one more session to go so maybe she can fix it somewhat if I do the removal before the last tat session. I also have the option of doing them again at the drs office. Insurance will pay for that. I plan to talk to hubby about finances when he’s done planting. If we can work it out I’ll do it sooner. If not then I’ll wait until we save the money to pay off the full out of pocket.

Saw my dr today (during a check up for a kiddo) and she said not to worry. Since they didn’t find cancer it’s probably just eczema or allergies making it react. Wrong nodes to react in those cases in my opinion but who knows. She didn’t seem worried at all! My appointment is Monday so I’ll talk to her more in depth about it then. She did say today that she wouldn’t run more tests. Said there was no need. I’m guessing it couldn’t be anything bad then or nothing they can test for.

It's always good to get the news it's not something immediately life threatening. But...if there is still something there that's worrying you & you don't have answers that's still pretty stressful. I hope you doctors can pinpoint what's happening & put your mind at ease. ❤
