I think you did well, considering all of the food that is at a fair! I would've had an elephant ear for sure and who knows what else. Is there really such a thing as deep fried butter? That doesn't even sound appetizing.  

Thanks Ali, I am done beating myself up over it. We had a fun day and that is that! Oh yes, there is such a thing as fried butter. I had to search out the place selling it, so what it is is chunks of frozen butter with dough wrapped around it, deep fried, and what it ends up being is something like donut holes except it is fried dough wrapped around the now melted butter. The other thing I couldn't wrap my head around was the two grilled cheese sandwiches used as a "bun" and inside of the bun was two cheeseburgers. I forget what they called it but my gut hurt just looking at it. You know the funny thing is that once I ate the junk I told my husband I didn't really enjoy it and would really rather have gone to the Grilled chicken dinner place. I guess that is progress. I think what really killed me was the beer. I haven't drank in almost a year!
