a couple more people from work have decided to try atkins! whoo-hooo!! i've been sticking to the routine except haven't been exercising like i should be. excuses excuses i know - but it doesn't seem like there's enough time in the day. i need to motivate myself to get up early in the morning and get on my treadmill - but gooood grrrieeeff my bed feels so comfy first thing in the morning! unfortunately the scale is STILL NOT BUDGING!!!! i see all kinds of people losing weight with atkins but of course i have to be the exception, it's just not happening. not giving up yet, just venting at this point. but after 4 or 5 weeks i've only lost about 2 - 3 pounds (and that fluctuates). waiting for the pounds or inches to start melting off. when i first started, about 4 months ago, i saw results; now... nothing!

You should be eating 12-15 carbs of foundation vegies a day. Looking at your food diary you aren't getting anywhere close to that. Hardly any vegies at all. Do you have the new Atkins book? Or go to Atkins.com and check out the learn Atkins section. Good luck.

so i should only be getting 5 - 8 carbs from things other than veggies - and the rest should be veggie carbs only? thanks for the help! :0)
