My daughter had an emergency run to the OB today. She's ready to deliver any time now. Unfortunately, she caught me just before I made my lunch and the only thing I could afford was McDs dollar menu. I ordered two hamburgers with extra pickle. They gave me two hamburgers with an extra patty on each. I was feeling dizzy at this point because I normally eat, literally, all day. I start with breakfast and spread it over two or three hours, then a snack, then lunch spread over two or three hours, then a snack, then dinner spread over two or three hours, then bed. When I'm out of the house on short notice, I can't do this, obviously. Oh well. Weigh in tomorrow. We'll see how it goes.
I was able to work dinner around the burgers and eliminated my snacks. I'm hungrier than normal and my nutrition today is definitely lacking, but at least I didn't go way overboard for calories and my fiber grams aren't horribly low.

I'm glad I read your journal. It explains A LOT about your food choices today. My daughter just had a baby boy a little over a month ago. The only grandson I have out of 6 grandchildren. She had problems and I was at the doctor's office myself and in an examining gown, but I walked out to stand by a window to get reception on my cell phone...she was crying and the baby's heart was in distress. I called my hubby right then and told him to get me the next flight to S. Calif. I went home, stuck dirty clothes in a suit case and left. All is good. Baby is well!!!

I'm so glad to hear that! Life comes first. We just kind of have to roll with the punches. The OB said she should deliver by Saturday at the latest. I probably need to try to pack a food bag, just in case. The problem is, I haven't made anything portable. LOL.
