Anniversaries are often meaningful for us. Sometimes they herald fond and beautiful memories of people, events and celebrations.
Sometimes they bring sadness and bittersweet memories of loss and heartbreak.
TODAY is my six month anniversary of joining FatSecret! SO many times in my recent adulthood I made attempts to lose weight - really lose the weight, and would give up.
NOT now! I found FatSecet accidently while looking up calorie values and decided to join. I had no idea the incredible impact this site was about to have on me and my health.
I now have knowledge, understanding, support and encouragement! I will reach my goal and learn to maintain.
I am forever grateful to ALL my buddies for their insight, tips, humor, and inspirational stories!
Still grateful for:
- The people I love who love me back!
- The good health of my loved ones
- My FS Buddies who support and encourage me to continue
- "Butt-kicking" myself to a smaller size today
- My DH - who is my greatest "cheerleader"
- My Bengal cat companions named Bodhi and Ravi
- My work - which has meaning and worth to other human beings
- My connection to the Mother Earth and its entire splendor
- My physical health

You have done so well. I found FS the same way you did. Just looking up calories/nutrition or maybe a recipe but it will be 4 months tomorrow. Great we have found our buddies and each other too!

Happy Anniversary! Your starting weight is my current weight as of today and I can say your posts have been a great motivator to me. It sounds so wonderful to know that six months from today I can be where you are today. Thank you for making me smile today! :-)
