We got out of the house late. My hubby doesn't move fast at the best of times. There was blowing snow and snow covered highways. We decided to just stay in the city until the chemo is over.
I ate well yesterday. I have a good plan for today so feeling strong on that front.
Dave goes into surgery at 11 am this morning. I got up early, exercises are done, my food is planned on the tracker piece, I had my shower and now I am making some breakfast and tea.
While he is in surgery I am going to the grocery store to stock up on some items that will appeal to him and some for me. That way when he gets back to the room we don't have to go anywhere.

Hang in there, Hun. You're doing great! The waiting would be the hardest for me, so I'd be looking for puzzle books or something to occupy my mind. You're so organized. Good job!

He is well and back at the hotel. Thank you for all of your encouragement. The doctor replaced the stent but expects to remove it permanently next February. Here's hoping! For now, Dave is a hurting unit but not unexpectedly so. Just for extra fun - we were put into an accessible room which meant that the shower had no lip on it. There was a floor drain. So the drain didn't work and his shower flooded the vestibule floor, the carpet in the bed area, and the carpet in the outside hallway. There was around 1 to 2 inches of water over everything. When we got back from surgery we had to move our room across the hallway as the carpets were still soaked. Always a bit of excitement.
I read my book and did all of my food plans. I am feeling very in control!
