Lazy day today, having a hard time getting myself motivated. I kind of freaked this morning when I got on the scale, I registered 127 and change, I am trying to slow my weight loss and just focus on building muscle and losing fat. I have already lost 2 pounds in the past few days since I started this limited food diet to straighten out my immune system flare up.

So I indulged in a little self defeating behavior this morning. I had a cup of coffee with cream and sugar. I know coffee effects my food sensitivities badly, blurred eyes brain fog etc. But I have been jonesing for it and not happy about the weight drop.

Today is a food test day too! I need to be clear headed for dinner. I am making chicken nacho's it is my husbands favorite treat. I will not be eating the flour torilla as I know that reacts badly, but I want to check the dairy products. I always enjoy this as well. Need a little break from all the steak. Trying to get enough fat being limited to meat products the past couple weeks has not agreed with my system much. My homemade bone broth helps as it has plenty of fat but on leaner days I am scrambling.


Enough belly aching need to get myself rolling and get some exercise going and warm myself up!

I am sorry you are having such a bad day @Baskington. Tonite with the nachos can you do yours as like a nacho salad - toppings over romaine leaves? Today is only 24hrs to get through and then things will hopefully be better.

Had one of those days yesterday - unlike you I wasn't motivated to do much - so you are doing great just getting at the exercise anyway! Luckily that mood is over and I did exercise this morning. All the best with the food testing today - sorry you are having to go through all of that.

thank you all, yes I am still dragging my feet about finishing my work today, I have like 2000+ gallons of fish tanks I rotate cleaning and I got my big tanks done, but just can't get motivated to do the rest. Playing on my bike instead watching TV! No problem with the nacho's just like eating the pizza without the crust. I can't have lettuce either, most veggies cause me problems, meat I am safe. I used to have a problem with cheese and dairy so I want to check how bad it is. eating bad for me food slows my weight loss which at this point is not a concern. bloating and slowing down my fat loss is a whole different thing. I have been thinking about this all day on and off and I may just give in to the weight loss and let it happen. I eat all I can but the appetite just is not there and trying to avoid going crazy on the protein. I was a little high yesterday for my goals.

Arabica is a bit 'kinder' than Robusta coffee. Maybe it is Arabica you drink, but if not, maybe Arabica would be worth a try. My own analyses of unwellness causing foods have taken time. At times I felt 'nuts' as the analysis got tricky at times. But time helps... bumps here and there, reflection, learning, getting better... an overall positive trend in perspective.
