It's been a messed up week this week. This weekend my boyfriend's mother was admitted into the hospital with 1 liter of fluid in her pleura (the membrane thing around the lungs) and a mass behind her heart. The mass is a tumor believed to be benign, but we are still waiting to see. They had the fluid drained from and she is feeling much better. I missed work sunday to go see her and tomorrow we go live with the new system at work. I had to pretty much train my boss on things she should already know. Kind of odd, at least, I think so for the employee to be the one training their boss. It can be sugar coated to say I was helping her, no, I was training her. I had to work with her step by step how to input something. She had 8 hours of an actual training session with the trainer and I had 2 to 3 hours with another sales manager. Makes me wonder if I had gone (I couldn't because of school), how quickly would I have picked it up.
