Weight 186 (up 3.6 lbs)
Bullet has been bitten. Increase in pounds duly recorded. Did well yesterday with being much more reasonable. Calories were under 1500 for the day. Today will be another reasonable day.
Snow yesterday morning and then again yesterday afternoon. A big storm blew in and dumped over an inch of snow in just a few minutes. The roads were very icy coming home last night. I imagine they will be icy again this morning. That means slow driving.
My tooth (the root canal victim) has been hurting lately so I'll be visiting the dentist this morning. Their office is closed Friday and all next week. I can't imagine he'll have time to actually DO anything but we'll see. I may just have to deal with the ache ... sedate it with Tequila in Mexico I guess. We'll see.
I'm hoping Info's mojo is contagious and leaks over here to me. I bet a few others of you are hoping for the same!!! I am disciplined and I like that about myself!!!
I am grateful for ...
1. the sun rising each morning
2. the ability to reign in my eating and not be consumed by it like I used to be
3. beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel in terms of some of my paperwork at the office
4. my friends who remind me I am human and still like me!!
5. just a little over a week and we'll be headed to Mexico

Well what happened with me was, I went in there, and they took the packing out, drained it, and left it open so it would keep draining. It made it feel 10000 times better - especially since the drugs I was taking wasn't touching the pain at all. Hopefully you don't have an infection though - not fun!! Good luck, and be careful driving!!!

I hope you get your tooth all straightened out before you leave. I am getting so excited for your trip you'd think I was going too. lol

Yay!!! Mexico is FAST APPROACHING. Let the official countdown begin. Hope your tooth gets straightened out before you leave though...

I like the biting of the bullet. :-) That's not so bad at all, you know it will probably be back to normal by weigh-in time tomorrow. As an additional measure for the "root canal victim" (lol), she can place a Bayer Aspirin directly on the affected area and find that it may help a bit, though I suspect that it may not be as effective as the Tequila. ;-) I like the disciplined part about you too! Don't worry about your tooth, Mexico has great dentists (and they are cheaper). Drive carefully, we don't want any last minute disasters...

Info I knew you would be proud of me biting the bullet. Although I have never actually 'heard' your voice I do 'hear' it in my head when I am dragging my feet to put in a number ... LOL!!! Dentist took an x-ray and said the tooth looks fine. He prescribed antibiotics and asked me to call and check in with them tomorrow. The roads were much better coming into town this morning than going home last night ... however there is snow predicted this afternoon again. I guess the contrast in the weather will cause me to appreciate the tropics of Mexico all the more!!

I'm sure Mexico will give you both a much deserved charge and hope that the antibiotics will make you feel better very soon. If your teeth are still bothering you before you leave perhaps the dentist can tell you exactly what to do in Mexico and what you should take with you. Perhaps thinking about that is premature though...
