I did better yesterday. I cooked two turkeys and de-boned/skinned them and packed in 3oz portions for the rest of the week. Froze the rest. This morning I had my new daily (since my in-laws have been living with me) breakfast indulgence of flavored liquid creamer in my coffee. I used to drink it black and only had creamer on vacation.
Anyhoo...breakfast will be my egg white scramble (from my chickens) with red peppers, onion and chard from my garden. Super low calorie and has the protein I need to start out my 40g's of protein/day my Doc recommended. Happy hump day everyone!!

I eat a piece of turkey bacon on the side. I used to have small pigs and would have fresk bacon but man the fat! Now we just have the goats, chickens and rabbits and they are all delicious! Hahaha Thank you for your kind words. I do like to have fun and laugh alot. Guess it comes from being the youngest in a family of loud 12 kids! Hope you had a good time with your super cute granddaughter and I hope your lovely wife is doing better with her ankle!!

Well its a small farm. 5 acres north of dallas a ways. I like to be close to everything but still be able to have land to do what i want! We primarily have the goats for ag exemption but when they proliferate I harvest the males to eat. The rabbits are not for ag but i like rabbit meat and i like that i know what is in the things i eat so i try. It is fun but it's a lot of work for sure. Im planning on downsizing the animal load soon lol
