After a day off work with the lurgy no exercise and eating bread today is a girlfriends day!! We have a theme and watch a film. Food appropriate for the film. Today is the Wizard of Of and I am Dorothy. Jamie Oliver tray baked chicken with mixed green salad. My friends who have not comment about my weight loss will be there. After feeling like I don't want to do this I had some very sad news 2 people we know found out on the same day that they have cancer. One is 30 and the other is 64. Get over myself and get on with it. I know I have put on a bit but compared to last year. !!!!@@@!!!!@!

The day sound good as does the food. A lot of people knock Jamie Oliver but his recipes are pretty good to my mind (although I've learned from experience he's quite heavy handed with salt for my liking) and he cares about food. Sorry to hear the news about your friends. It's a tough road ahead of them that they may need help on. All the best

Hope you have a great day with your friends. Tray bakes are winners when you're feeding lots of people. Sorry to hear about the people with cancer. It's a tough diagnosis to cope with. I hope things go well for them.

Enjoy your meal and film with your friends 🙂 So sorry to hear that two people you know have a diagnosis of cancer. It is a horrible disease, but as I know from personal experience, if detected early there is a much better outcome. If they get good support as I did, they will get through it much easier.
