Holiday started well, and was a nice relaxing break. Then I went down with a really bad tummy bug on the last couple of days, which I'm sure was a penance from the gods of slimming, as I had not no way been sticking to my diet. Too much wine, a couple of unnecessary desserts, mostly okay apart from that, but really the wine alone would have put me way over. Net result is I am down slightly in weight, and I did have a good holiday, apart from being really sick at the end. I did get to see a 32" waist measurement yesterday, though!

Oh bad luck Heidi - what a shame! I'm sure it wasn't penance as we're all allowed treats, especially on holiday. Hope you feel back to normal soon!!

Thanks for your comments, all, made me smile 😀 Today has been a bit up and down with tummy. I stayed home and caught up on a few little jobs, so I'm feeling good about that 😀

Tummy bugs can be nasty things, especially when you are on holiday. You've done well with the weight though. I've got a similar waist number .... well I've got one of your digits... but not the right one lol. 🌟

Sorry to hear you were feeling poorly, but glad to see you back on your feet! Hmmm, wine & desserts and then a little bit of illness and you came back from holiday weighing less... I'm thinking that's not such a bad deal :D

Sorry you got bit by a bug while on your holiday. But silver lining is the loss, not sure it is a fair trade tho. That tummy bug should have waited til you got home!

Thanks folks. I managed a reasonable day's eating in the end today, so it will be interesting to see what the scales say tomorrow 😁 Tummy was funny though, one minute it was 'I'm hungry, feed me, feed me', then 'oh, I didn't like that, rumble rumble', then 'I feel sick and I wanna lie down', then it was back to 'I'm hungry, feed me, feed me'. So I hit it with some sweet chilli sauce in the end, mixed with a rice stir-fry, and it didn't know what to make of that! I think it will be back to normal tomorrow, fingers crossed.
