I'm right there with you. It's a weird thing to be saying, but I feel ya. I remember being all embarrassed because I bought a new electronic gadget. A new bathroom scale. LOL! Careful on the starving yourself. But of course, you already know that. :) 

I was so embarrassed to buy scales that i bought them online.... As for the Starving, I did not mean too and try very hard not too but was busy doing all sorts of things out and just forgot to eat. 

LOL, for me, I didn't care. I bought the last one online because I couldn't get an affordable smart scale in Denmark. I bought this one through Amazon. When I first decided I had to do something about my weight, I did it so half-assed that I actually, literally bought the scale AND a 200g bar of chocolate. Now remember that I was 340 lbs at that time. The cashier just gave me that "Yeah, that'll work just fine"-look. LOL. 

Oh, and I wasn't embarrassed to buy the scale. I was embarrassed cause I was getting all giddy over it! :) 

TBH there is no reason to be embarrassed when buying scales as it is usually the start of trying to loose weight and loosing weight should be looked up upon, But for some stupid reason I was embarrassed about the whole thing lol. HaHaHa buying a chocolate bar and scales is a classic. Don't know why I just thought of this but wanted to share. Because I work shift work I work with different people all the time. There is this one guy at work who is on a "Diet" but still gaining weight. He said he is on his own diet where he gets a carb day once a week or something... Well everyday I work with him is his Carb day and been talking to other people and every time they work with him it is his carb day hahaha. I guess the moral of the story is lying about a diet you are only hurting yourself...
