Happy Friday all FatSecret devotees! Well, my brother in law is still hopeful, that he can live through his brain tumors. We went to Red Robin for dinner, and had hamburgers, and bottomless fries, as you can see from the RED arrow. I hit Costco for Pistachios, Cashew Clusters, and Quinoa and Rice. Also, bought Coconut Coffee mix, that they were giving samples of. You can mix it in your coffee. I better fast a bit today. I have my bone scan evaluation on the 31st. Oh gosh, the first time I ate at Red Robin and discovered the bottomless fries I thought I was in the best place ever. :) You'll get that off in no time. I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts. Take care of you.

I think it is sad, that Obama apologizing for dropping nuclear bombs on Japan is sacrosanct, and even acknowledging it, bothers many. Exactly, why I voted for him.

Hi Warren! Happy Friday to you too! Red Robin sounds gooooood right now! Bottomless fries- what a deal right? I didn't see the video, but I agree with you on Obama apologizing (I had to look up what sacrosanct meant hehe) I had a chance to visit Hiroshima twice, nobody can leave that atomic bomb museum without a dry eye. Many victims were children and women, very sad!

I know, Smarty! I was thinking about you, related to this. I'm sure this is a very close issue to you. America was in a tight spot related to this decision, and many felt this saved many American lives, but incinerating people is just so awful, yet it happened in Japan, Vietnam, and will continue happening in the future. I think the saying, "Where is the humanity?" applies.

Smarty, and interesting twist for me, is my father died of cancer related to working with poison gas, in a factory, he was working in during WW2.

Re: War - you just have to wonder why people cannot be reasonable, agree to disagree. We even see how conflict escalates right here on FS over "how to diet." Thinking of that song "Everybody Wants To Rule The World." Or at least "their world." @warren - soon as I saw your comment on my post I had to find yours and see the cats. Very cute!
