This is wrong. The fatsecret app for iPad is poorly designed. You click the "weigh in" button and it lags so you are not sure if you clicked it. So you go to click it again and it changes just before your finger makes contact to the "save" button. Once you save there is no way to edit from the app so I logged in online hoping I could edit on the web and I can't seem to find a way to do that either.

The app is almost useless for me. I use my desktop pc during work : )

The only thing I really like the app for is barcode scanning. Otherwise, it's always desktop for me when I can.

Rather than using the iPad app, I use the full website via the Google Chrome app on the iPad. It works out great that way when I'm not at my PC.
