Down another pound, which I'm happy about! My weight loss is pretty slow at this point, but I'm not worried about that. I think the loss is a "real" one, so to speak (not just water weight or something I'll gain back right away). After losing about 37 pounds over the past five and a half months, I expect the weight to come off slowly now.

Sometimes I look at myself in the mirror and am surprised by what I see--my face looks much thinner, not as round, I guess, and I think it makes me look younger. There's more to the difference than perceived age, though. I can't quite put my finger on it. Anyone else have that? It's a really strange feeling to be surprised by my own reflection. :)

Work is still keeping me too busy, and finding time to exercise during the day is still a challenge. But, my hubby and I decided this weekend that we want to make the room above our garage into a workout room for us, including building a small rock climbing practice wall. We used to be avid rock climbers (before grad school and kids) and we haven't done much of it in several years. So, he spent most of the day cleaning out the boxes and making space-- next weekend I hope we can get started on it! It'll take some work to get everything set (build the climbing structure, get some floor mats, move up the weight bench and weights, etc.), but I'm pretty psyched about it. Much easier to exercise at home than get motivated to go to a gym in the evening after the kids are in bed.
