It's that odd time of year. My girls' Mama passed away some years ago, and tomorrow would be her birthday. I'm Mummeh and always will be, just like their Mama is always going to be their Mama. Confused? Me too at times!

Their bio Dad died when they were little. Their Mama met Joe - the man who would be "Daddy", and they married.

Mama died. Now they had lost both bio parents. So ... me. I was widowed a few months before Joe, my husband having died at the far too young age of 31. Some time later..

Two widows met in a support group.

Two widows developed a magnificent friendship.

Two widows found love again.

Two widows married, and that's how we got here.

I "inherited" two beautiful, amazing young ladies and now have four amazing grandchildren.

So ... that's us!
