Taking the opportunity of staying off my feet to do some more advanced yoga. I have gotten lazy and feel like a shaky little baby, made me feel better though. Eating has been pretty clean though certainly not low carb. Staying under 1300 calories for the most part so I at least should not be gaining until I find a new groove.
I have seen most of you posting successes or at least being accountable(the same thing really) and am very proud of my buddies. The only way you will fail is to not try.

Hey you have to work with what you can do and still do something. That is great you found a way.

Great job doing what you can do. seeking out things that work for your current situation. I know you were doing low carb but IMO whatever works for you at the time is the thing to do as long as it's healthy. My wife has a friend in her 60's who had some issues and bone spurs on her feet, she found some simplified yoga to do and that cleared up most of her problems. Yup, never quit! Have a good one!

Tweak, adapt -- you're in the 160's which is fantastic! I'll admit I'm a little jealous that threshold is my next hurdle/goal . . . nice job!!

I am glad you are giving your poor foot a chance to mend. You will get stronger and less shaky with more yoga practice. I think that is very good for you, body and soul. :)

Definitely rest that foot but do what you can to get some exercise in. I am encouraged reading everyone's successes and struggles, too. It keeps things in the right perspective for me. We are all human and we have events we have to attend and sometimes indulge, but ... it's important to keep trying. I have several buddies that are around your weight. I would love to be where you are now. Going to keep trying. Hugs!
