Been in the ER all day with a horrific migraine STILL!!! Even though I’m still drinking Pepsi I’ve cut myself off by a lot!!! Until I can get help with these migraines, but they’re not really helping them. I just get wicked worse without any. I barely have been eating. Especially not in any kind of breakfast lunch dinner plan. I’ve been feeling so bad. I am only eating when I’m starving. Yogurt, fruit, and peanut butter. I munch on grapes constantly to keep my junk food cravings down and I’m living on berries! I’m a muncher. I don’t eat meals. So I’m just finding healthy snacks.

Ancienthippie. First of all LOVE the name. It’s very cool 😎 when I went to the pharmacy to get my prescriptions they said that my HMO was not working? I’m on permanent disability so it usually just roles over every year. I know Medicaid is warning people that they may have accidentally been put in with the regular people who have to reapply every year. I said it wasn’t accidental!!! Until you make a hundred phone calls and get to the correct person, the states saving millions on all of us chronic health insurance carriers! Just another issue to deal with today to find out what happened. I can barely speak better yet call robots and try to actually get a human on the phone! Thanks again cool name 😎

Novariche. I hear you! That’s why I stopped trying to quit. But it’s also upsetting multiple health problems that I. So I’ve just got to wean myself off like I did with drugs. That was easier than quitting Pepsi lol 😂

Please get well soon . Migraines really suck. I’m sure you’re trying everything in your power to get rid of them. I don’t think you need any additional advice from someone like me. Please get well soon.

I'm so sorry to hear about your migraines! I quit drinking Pepsi a few years go in my "get healthy" journey and it was HARD! My body definitely tried to stage a mutiny. I didn't realize how addicted I was until I tried to stop! Caffeine supplements definitely helped. I hope you feel better soon!

Jenn, ugh, so sorry you have to deal with all that in top of the migraine from hell. That you continue to try to eat right is amazing.

Thank you everyone for your support. I wanted to ask a question actually related to this app while I’m deciding whether or not to pay for it again. Other than the counting calories, great support, and the awareness of what I have been putting in my body by seeing it everyday, do you like the idea of their meal plans? Or do many of you just try to be a similar meal of your own choice in the plans you chose? Again financially it’s not like I can afford cashew butter and almond butter. I’m using peanut butter for instance! We did just fine on it growing up lol 😂 also I’m a major fruit lover. I was raised by a vegetarian, so fruit was my sweet snacks. Bananas berries apples pears. Which is mostly what the intermittent diet is full of. I make my own smoothies. I am noticing a pattern. Sure I’ve gotten some great tips from reading those recipes but I lived on a fixed income and the last 2 wells of the month…. I’m getting creative and stretching out my budget as far as I can! That’s one of the ways I gained so much weight and can’t lose it. I was stacking up on BOGOs of all boxed stuff. Cereal was my biggest! I have been shopping in the fresh produce section and then going stay to the dairy for my yogurt cottage cheese. Also use deli meat an. Egg’s!!!! I love eggs. I actually cut the middle of the grocery store out unless I another have to get something. I am not just going to have many of those ingredients just laying around my house to do one of the planned meal diets!!! I’m really good at saving money so I just needed some change in education for which Food to buy. Stop just buying all of the prepackaged foods and boxed foods that are on sale! I’m actually saving money with this diet right now. But the app I think only charges money to do the meal prep recipes so on. I basically have remembered what the jist of the two doers I go back and forth from include!!! I don’t want to lose this part. The support has been the greatest help for me all month. 😊

Nothing that Medicaid does like that is an accident and they're particularly rude when you call on the phone. I have had some very nice agents but most of them can be extremely rude or rush you even though you've waited to get your turn on the call two and three hours on hold. Do you know what One agent told me she told me that even though the phone line is open till 4:00 to get on to the hold line that they will put everybody on the call back list to be told to be called back the next day at 2:30 p.m. regardless of you hold or put yourself on the call me later list. I work each day till 3:30 you see a problem there right I have to take off a day in order to call the line so if they don't have time to take my call or for some reason can't fix my issue in one day I have to take off multiple work days or in most cases I just call while I'm at work so I have my phone to my ear while I'm cooking with gloves on in a thousand degree oven which is not safe but what do you do you don't have any choices when they won't let you call past 2:30 p.m. I can't take days off work just to try to get my case hurt when they make mistakes. The last problem I had was because they didn't process my case in time even though I turned it in two weeks early. And they told me well you should have turned it in earlier it was 2 weeks early I was in my fault you can't process a piece of paperwork in 2 weeks?

Have you ever with a dietician who specializes in diabetic care? My local hospital has diabetic classes. Balanced meals are important. I only eat grapes in small portions they have negative effects in my blood sugar. No white bread , potatoes even sweat potatoes raises my sugar readings and only eat bananas small portions mainly in smoothies or for low sugar readings.
