why did I celebrate my weight loss by eating an entire package of lotus cookies I found while cleaning out expired carbs from my pantry? maybe because I finally paid off my car in Feb and yesterday they told me the engine is shot and I need 10k in repairs or scrap the car. life really sucks sometimes. but eating lotus cookies until I feel sick seemed like the solution at the time. now full of regret and guilt to go along with my worries. im going to throw out the other pack of cookies since I know where they are now.

Perfectly understandable reaction to stress and disappointment. And don’t worry; it’s a momentary hiccup! You threw away the 2nd box of cookies and you’re back on track now. Very relatable! 💕

It’s hard when life gets us down. BUT, when we are self aware it makes it easier to stay away from the slippery slope. We all have those hiccups .. it doesn’t define us and we still keep our eyes on our goals. For your car.. maybe ask around and see if there is a mechanic that will help you find an affordable solution .. I know someone who was able to find a used engine from a car that had the body written off.. the big garages dont do those solutions
