We cut our vacation short - DH had to get back to work - something that has been very scarce this year. But we packed a lot in to a very short period of time. My head is still spinning.
I ate pretty well, but as you know, it is the little things that mess you up (like Friday night's vodka & grapefruit juice). I gained 4 pounds - a pound for each day we were gone. Guess it is a good thing we didn't travel the whole week!
Today will be spent catching up. Am thinking about going back to work tomorrow - and use my vacation days around the Holidays instead.

Welcome back Buffy!! Mmmm Vodka and grapefruit sounds yummy - I used to drink vodka and tonic, until my body cried "no more!!!" Thank you for the lovely pep talk, it was much needed. Don't worry your "instant weight gain" will vanish in the next few days :)

Hey Buffy, My husbands company called him 3 times during the week...very frustrating annoyance in my opinion as there was nothing Brian could have done for them. He already cut his two weeks into a one week vacation. Now they are telling him that they are not going to allow people to take their vacations during the summertime...wow...22 years at this place and they get crazier by the year. Buffy, I have already lost the weight I lost camping. You'll be fine in a couple of days. Push the water, it'll help. Glad you are back and sure sorry it was cut short.

Good evening Buffy! I'm so glad you're back with us! I'm sorry you had to cut your vacation short, but these days turning down work is unthinkable! You'll be back on track in no time! I haven't drank vodka and grapefruit juice since I quit having monthly cramps. That was THE cure, at least according to my mother-in-law, bless her!

Awwww I hate you had to cut your vacation short..that always happened to us when we went any where..but thats life these days..it won't take you long before you lose that fluid girl....you know how it is.. traveling always makes my feet retain water...Later girl....Bren

Yes, I missed you too! Not to worry, I am sure those pounds will melt off when you get back to normal life. So sorry to hear your vacation got cut short, but glad it was for a good reason! PS - My whip is just waiting for you to get settled to get back to cracking! BTW - That's for both of us!! I have been slacking off lately!!!
