Well despite bringing my calorie count down, I've gained 3 pounds this week. As Dr Now would say the scale doesn't lie people do, well sticking to the exact foods listed here in my chart, apparently I'm eating the wrong foods for my body, or I need to add in some exercise, and or it could be the cortisol as I have as the Dr said abnormally high amounts. Took my calories down to 1200 a day, will see if that helps drop the weight.

Sometimes the scale does lie! Eat a lot of salt, hold water. I've done the 1200 calorie diet, in hopes of losing faster. I lost weight, but it was harder to maintain long term. Every body is different, but slow and steady progress takes time ☺️

Thank you for your encouraging words, as I won't lie "lol" I became discouraged as I took down my calories and stuck to it, and was proud of myself only to be let down when I hopped on the scale. I was reading yesterday that there are different types of bodies mine is what they would call an ENDOMORPH type and for someone like me who regardless of bringing down the calories I tend to gain weight easily which I do. I read we have to "trick" our metabolism and eat higher protein, something I was not doing as I tried to go vegan. I finally gave in and had some protein (chicken) for dinner. The scale is still rising, I do drink a lot of water, and have to have higher sodium due to my CKD I'm usually very low. Will stick with it, and keep trying. Thanks for writing, it helps.
