Well it has to be done! For the last month I’ve been having Radiation treatment (radiotherapy) to eradicate any rogue cells from breast cancer. All treatment is now finished. As you can imagine I’ve been doing a lot of comfort eating. My weight has gone up another 3kgs during the process. No excuses now. Another PET scan will be done in a couple of months time to ensure it’s all gone, Up until this point I’ve been very lucky with no spread. The biggest downer was my zero will power when it came to eating, I guess I should give myself some slack. Anyways back to the healthy eating grind, besides a healthier body will help resist any recurrence. I’ve gone from being a pescatarian to vegan also so a slight change in eating habits too. Wish me luck. I’m in the right frame of mind now for the first time since my cancer diagnosis back in April. All o can say is remember to check your boobs regularly like I did, it saved my life as I caught is very early 😌🌸 have a lovely day 😍

Bless you...what a mental and physical journey you have taken....dieting at a time of fighting is probably the wrong time and now you say you are ready....take care and I wish you well in your next chapter...you stay being YOU and enjoy being a Nana....from one woman to another thank you for the reminder....be proud of yourself....big hugzz to you xx

Well done for catching it early and braving the radiotherapy! Hope it's all clear now. Good luck with getting back to healthy eating and exercise. Should be a walk in the park for you after the battle you've just won.
