Sorry :-( Hang in there ... 

Had the same thing happen to me when I was younger...but it was a 5 yr romance and i walked in on her with another guy as we were engaged...I wish I knew then what I know now some 35 yrs later. Its a true revelation when u come to really realize that all your would ofs and could of are really just never meant to bes...I dated for the next decade--had an unbelievable single life---married the greatest girl on earth...she is prettier now that when i married her and old whats her name ended up marrying that dude i caught her with and immediately had triplets..they r now divorced and she is a very fat, not so pretty much older lady..karma is such a great thing.. so cheer up...start drinking and tomorrow night at happy hour bring home a girl, give her a fake name, have mad passionate sex all night long, do things u always dreamed of but would never suggest with ur old gf then kick her out never to call her again...does wonders for that cracked heart --believe me! I'm sorry Instant. Hopefully you can go home soon and "process". Take good care of yourself. Do the things you'd do if you had the flu - rest, lots of healthy fluids, nutritious foods. Give your spirit time and the tools to heal.

Take care of yourself. I am with Vickie and Ed. Process etc and then go out and make yourself have fun. Curling up in a ball maybe good for a little bit, But the World Awaits!! There are "plenty of fish in the sea" type of thing. Maybe that one was not the right one. ((hugs))

Hugs. I've been there. It sucks, and it will for a long time, but it does eventually get easier.

Now, I understand that. My ex DH was the love of my life, may be still. He turned abusive, it was soo hard to leave. Finally did. Best decision of my life. I had to protect me, otherwise I'd be dead..  

Crazy, if the chemistry was wrong, it was wrong. Would you rather have this happen in 5 years when you were married with a kid and a house? And all you were left with was child support and the mortgage? Just move on. Take a month and evaluate and move on to the next one. Chances are that if she dropped her one in the hand, she already had 2 in the bush waiting for this to happen. Remember, you can't put toothpaste back into the tube. You can only start brushing again with another tube. 

Though it may not seem like it right now, the sun WILL come up tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after that. And it will be important for your mental state that you remember this quote, one of my favorites. Only a fool trips over something behind him. Keep your head up and look ahead, not back.
