I missed my workout yesterday. But, today is a new day. And, I walked the stairs for 30 mins. My short term exercise goal is to work out every other day. Since I missed a day, I will out again tomorrow to catch up.

My husband bought brownies yesterday. It was a bake sale with goods produced by convents in Spain. I'm glad he bought something, because it is for a good cause. But, now that means I have a big box of gourmet brownies in my house. Strangely enough, I have had no desire to eat them. Even watching him eating the brownies after diner has had no effect on me. Yay!!! Who is this chocolate resistant person?!

Generally speaking, I hate working out. I don't want to do. I have to make myself do it. Its like waking up on the sofa in the middle of the night because you feel asleep watching a movie and dragging your self with eyes half openned to brush you teeth before plopping in bed. It's the worst. So in an effort to stayed motivated, I'm trying to focus on how good I feel afterwards - physically and mentally. I'm' also keeping a wall chart. As a reminder of my hard work. (I have to chuckle at myself. It reminds me of chore charts or potty charts that kids put stickers on when they complete a chore/go to the bathroom)
