I used to think that as well, tried keto, lost a bunch of weight but wasn't sustainable because I love carbs! now working on lower fat and sugar content and cal counting, and it is working, albeit slowly! don't be too hard on yourself with overly restrictive diets!! you can do it on your owns terms :)

I wouldn’t worry too much about gaining one pound. Our weight generally fluctuates a lot, even by up to six pounds, and it more than likely isn’t weight from fat.

Thanks for your inquiry. I'm hanging in there, actually as good or better than all last year with my sister's death and family troubles. I finally journaled today, mostly about my limited gardening. Thanks again for your support. Life is lonely around here, I guess I just don't reach out and always feel guilty about so much undone around here.
