In spite of no gym this week due to soreness, weight is holding steady and even going down. I've exceeded by end of month goal of 217 by .5 pounds, so all that I lose in the next two weeks will be a bonus. No time for slacking off now. I'm going to hit it hard both with diet and at the gym to make up for the two weeks I missed in March being sick.

Having a new dog has really stepped up my activity level and lowered the amount of sleep I've been getting. That being said, my heart hasn't been fuller or more happy in a very long time.

You're doing awesome. Having the puppy will also help with your resolve and state of mind. Don't use him as an excuse to escape the gym. I don't believe you will. Use Blond Puppy to get you out for little excursions more often. He'll love you for it and so will your body.
