A tough few days and apparently I don't comfort eat like I used to. My adult sons both caught hand, foot and mouth disease (Coxsackie virus) and then eventually gave it to me. My immune system did a good job holding it off as long as it did and compared to the guys my symptoms are relatively mild, but it still sucks. Then losing our lovely old dog due to a tumor on her spleen was/is emotionally devastating. Yes, it has been a tough few days and somehow I still lost weight and dropped a size in clothing, just don't feel like celebrating.

Thanks everyone, it's been a difficult week but we are slowly recovering. My sons and I are getting over the hand, foot and mouth disease and even they grudgingly agree that I have bounced back faster than them. I put it down to the supplements I'm taking, the vitamins, the zinc and magnesium and the natural antiinflammatory ones like the curcumin.

I'm so sorry for your loss and I am waiting to get hand foot and mouth as well as my baby is almost a year old not looking forward to that.. I've been sick for 6 months for two weeks at a time no idea what's going on with my immune system I guess lack of sleep and stress has weakened my immune system but I hope you get better soon!
