Hope you’re doing well, peeps. 

I am thank you! Sore of course but not bad. Three day tourney coming up so I’m guaranteed to eat above normal and follow other restrictions lol. Hope you are well!  

Glad to hear you're doing better than expected and you get some rest before it's life as usual. 💕

Surgery?! Third in two years?! 

Hey peeps! How are you? Nice to see a post!! 

praying for strength and healing.  

Tassos... 12th procedure in 5.5 years! Preventative surgeries to limit cancer risk turned into a cancer diagnosis then reconstruction. Had a few hiccups along the way like chemo not allowing me to heal, a recalled implant and a mystery infection. Hoping to be done but surgical notes say I will need another revision or two. I’m hoping that’s for insurance’s benefit and not really what he thinks. Will know more once the swelling goes down in a couple weeks and know for sure I’m about two months I think. I don’t mind it all other than the expense of our deductible and all the restrictions all the time. I want to get back to lifting!  

Thank you everyone! Surgical notes say more revisions to come but fingers crossed that the notes are incorrect. Feeling good and following the restrictions mostly. Had beer this evening which is against the rules but really needed the muscle relaxing from it as the muscle relaxer I took yesterday did nothing for me. Taking it easy, no lifting, rarely even open a door! Kids are helping with light housework, carrying my purse, videoing games etc. A little tired but that’s to be expected and probably as much from inactivity as from the surgery. I’ve got this awesome white surgical bra that’s super sexy... NOT lol. They usually put me in a small but this one is a large?!? Not sure why when even his surgical notes say I have a very thin body habitus (small thin torso from pelvic bone to the top of the head). Could’ve kissed him when I read that haha. He also mentioned that I’m an active body builder that wants to finish up and get back to the gym. That was awesome to read! I just ‘play around’ not a body builder but maybe he sees more muscle growth than I do? Either way, reading his comments made my day lol.
