No weigh in this morning due lil sis and her friend coming over to swim, while I was struggling to get ready for work this morning. Took PTO yesterday! Too much pain and not willing to deal with the stress of coming in and facing my boss's return from vacation.
Brother is struggling, but "still above ground" as our oldest brother used to say. I'm feeling a bit more positive, as I have been truly blessed with the best friends. Given all my worries about employment, housing and health, I've been reassured that if the worse should happen, I have a safety net. My friends own their 4 bedroom home out right, and the master suite is not in use, due to my friend's own health issues. It's mine for the asking should I ever need it. Like I said, truly blessed!
I'm back in the office today, nothing's changed. My boss refuses to acknowledge me, which is fine, but the passive aggressive behavior is really jarring when she marches past my fishbowl several times an hour.
Just gotta breathe and make it for another 5 hours. Keeping positive and taking the time to reach out to my Neurologist again about the MRI's. Fingers crossed we can figure out how to get them approved. I gotta do something to get past this.
