Increased exercise mainly walking over the last few days has helped me maintain my daily deficit average for the month of 1144 calories and given me a loss of 3kg so far in July - Colour me chuffed, my plan really seems to be working and for me each deficit of 7700 calories leads to an approx loss of a kg. It seems to me that the FS food/exercise calendar might just be one of the best diet tools there is ever ever! In the garden the produce is going quite well I am quite new to gardening so I can get excited- Latest is gooseberries blackcurrants aplenty plus the first few courgettes look pickable today. Our chillis and peppers are now outside also some ready to pick. We have friends visiting tomorrow so today is trying to make the garden nice and tidy. All FSers have a good one.

pretty good looking chilli peppers... mine are still in baby stage but I have bell peppers in flower stage so soon I'm pretty sure I'll be loaded with peppers 😍 all grown from seeds ( from fresh peppers 😀)

Rythy...I know u can't grow potatoes in the same spot 2yr in a row coz of the soil but I was talking to an old farmer at the shore, him&his wife were collecting seaweed in buckets, apparently seaweed in the soil as a compost makes the potatoes taste amazing, this guy was in his 80's and farmed his whole life...wee tip for u...sshhhh don't tell anyone😂
