Yesterday went by easily. Excedrin took care of slight headache from caffeine withdrawal. God showed Himself mighty in my behalf by empowering me to get through Day #1 of this extended fast, without it being hard for me. I pray that it would continue to be easy, and that if it gets hard, God will give me the strength and determination to weather the temptation. Lost 5 pounds of water weight overnight! That feels good. Hard to believe that drinking Diet Coke causes me to retain that much fluid, but it apparently does.

After a lifelong love/hate affair with caffeine in coffee, soda and tea, I finally gave it up last December. I gave it up in the hopes of alleviating a few symptoms I was having. Dr. Google pointed me in that direction. I feel better than I ever have before! Debbie, if you need support from someone who knows, feel free to reach out.

I rarely touch sodas of any type. Never cared for them great job!!!
