Where are my buddies? I miss talking with ya'll. 

We're all under a sheet of ice and just getting power back. Haven't had power, phone or internet for days now though it appears things are coming back now. 

Hi Sunkeeper,so glad you are back! Sorry about the ice and no power...how does one manage to stay warm in that? Living here in Fl. I have no idea what that would be like. Not to brag, but I'm still in shorts and tee shirts. There are people still engaging in water sports, although its a bit to cold for me. Had a checkup yesterday and my Dr. was pleased and somewhat surprised at my wt. loss. My wt. started at 184 on her charts, down to 135...and people say low carb doesnt work. Ha. Have you noticed that its harder to get and stay warm now that you have lost wt.? Well, I'm glad you're back to add your positive spark and knowledge. Happy New Year! 

Happy New Year back at ya! I am FREEZING, can't get warm at all this winter now that the layers of insulation are gone! We have a generator so had no problem with heat, water or all the other necessary things. Some had nothing, they ended up in warming centers set up by the different cities and towns. Was not nice though, very inconvenient. Low carb does work and it works well. The people that don't lose while eating this way are not doing it right, they either go off plan or add things in they shouldn't and I don't care what anyone says, I know that to be fact. Makes me so mad when I see comments about being trying but haven't lost anything in 2 months or something to that effect. Hog wash, complete and utter crap. Do it right and it works, stay with it and you maintain though I find the maintenance harder than the losing. I have a tendency to lose more than I want as I think you've found also. Easy to lose, hard to stay in one place!
