Usually I only record my weight in half-pound increments, but this morning, I'm taking the 3/10 pound loss, putting me at 240.2 (instead of the 240.5 I've been at for the past three days. I'm thankful for the small victory! Day 5 with neck pain is a great reminder that USUALLY I am NOT in pain as a normal part of my life. I'm thankful for my good health and normally pain-free life! God is good! Yesterday's Bible reading confirmed some things I discussed with my friend on the phone earlier that day, even though I am SEVEN MONTHS ahead of where I "should be" in my one-year reading plan. Those particular verses only occur ONE place in the Bible, and I just "happened" to be at exactly that point in my reading.

@dboza, I was just telling my friend that I'm "spoiled" because I allow myself to do pretty much anything I want to and DON'T make myself do anything I don't want to. Right after our conversation, my reading just "happened to be" in Jeremiah 4:13, "Woe unto us! For we are spoiled." We had also discussed exercise and she mentioned the Bible verse that says, "Bodily exercise profiteth little," and my New Testament reading just an hour later was in I Timothy 4 - the only place in the Bible that says that. Basically, the "coincidences" said to me that I don't need to fret so much about things - I appear to be right where God wants me, and I'll continue on this path, at least for now.

I take those small victories now also! My sweet body has a tendency to hold onto the weight and even creep up a bit and stay, then down a smiggen then up then down! Drives me crazy but now I am also looking at how I feel and right now I feel super so I have to keep that in mind when I feel temptation creep into my brain and stop it before it reaches my hand to mouth reaction :-)

Definitely celebrate that .3 loss! I 'boycotted' the scale yesterday and today as I'm getting so irritated with it lately. I'm taking this weekend to reflect on my journey so far and appreciate how far I've come. I'll check weight on Monday...
