Managed to get back on track this week and dropped a half a pound! That's awesome considering I was on vacation last week and eating ice cream! Had a good steak dinner last night, probably ate a little more than I should have but I got out after and pulled weeds in the gardens. With all the rain we keep having, the weeds keep sprouting!! I get some of it cleaned up just to have to start over again! The driveway is horrible. We just trim it with the lawnmower, it's that bad! And there are no good weed killers here in Ontario. All the good stuff has been banned!

Went for lunch time runs Tues, Wed, and Thurs. We have plans to go again today. But I'm losing my drive to do the other exercises, like lunges, pushups, etc. I get one set done instead of my usual 3. Need to buck up and getter done!! Eating has been okay. I'm around 1650 calories per day. I'd like to get that down a bit too. I'm within sight of my weight loss goal! It's getting sooo close but it's taking sooo long. Ah well, I'm lucky, I've been taking it slow and steady. I hope that by doing so I'll be able to manage the maintainence part!

Not doing much this weekend. My DH is working night shift this weekend, so it's just me and the little guy. We'll hang out with my parents tomorrow at the farm. Sunday will be just a relaxing day.

On a fun note, only 4 more days until we go see Pearl Jam! Can't wait. THe last time I saw them in concert was in 1993 when they were touring with Neil Young.

Slow and steady wins the race! I agree, I think losing it slowly will help you with maintenance. Great job on the runs. I think that is so awesome you are able to do that on your lunch break! I've been a bit lax on getting regular workouts in, so next week I'm going to step up and get back into that routine! How fun to go see Pearl Jam!! Have a great weekend!
